What it means

On Kubota SVL/SSV track loaders, E:9000 means the DPF (diesel particulate filter) needs regenerating but engine speed is too low for it to start. Kubota's table says to raise engine rpm so regeneration can start.

Check first

  1. Park on level ground, lower the loader, attachment or implement to the ground, set the parking brake, stop the engine and remove the key. Then keep the exhaust area clear of grass, leaves and anything flammable.
  2. Raise engine rpm, or keep working at higher rpm, so regeneration can run as the operator's manual describes.
  3. If the code stays on or returns quickly, call your dealer.
